Generally the bleeding in vomiting appears coffee colored not tarry black, but seems possible if there is associated intestinal obstruction or so. About your question of whether this is due to 13 Chrome being muted can be answered only after a proper clinical evaluation and investigations of the relevant blood tests, test of the vomitus about presence of blood or anything else. Also needed is upper GI Endoscopy and Ultrasonography of the abdomen and CT scan if needed. Take a PPI like Omeprazole and antacids after go-ahead by your Doctor. Further management will be dependent upon the clinical examination and correlation with the reports of investigations. Take soft bland diet. Say no to alcohol in any form and tobacco in any forms. Anxiety and stress should be well controlled as it is sometimes contributory.
