What Causes ST-segment Elevation In A Patient With Polymyositis?

I have had 3 EKGs in the last few weeks. the first read inferior ST elevation, compatible with early repolorization. The next one said mild ST elevation. borderline Ekg. today it said normal sinus rythym, rightward axis. borderline Ekg. I am 36 with polymyositis. what does this mean? can it be caused by my myosiitis?

Hello,

It can be a sign or mild angina possibly an old one. You can go for trop-I test after consulting a cardiologist.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain
