What Causes Lipoma On Calf?

Hi, I am a 49 and have a lipoma the size of a mans fist on the back of my calf, I have had a mri done on it and the plastic surgeon who sent me for the mri says he can`t do anything for me. I need to have something done because it is getting larger, I am seeing a surgeon next month for a consultation, I am getting very frustrated I have had this for about 15 years now. thank-you

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
I really appreciate your concern and let me tell you that the lipoma is very simple skin lesion can easily be removed surgically if the plastic surgeon refuse to do it then there must some condition which does not allow the surgeon to do this, you should have asked the reason for refusal, is it something turned in MRI scan? hope this information helps you, have a nice a day.
I find this answer helpful
