What Causes CHD In Infants?
MY YOUNGEST CHILD NAMED SHAFKAT,AGE 6 MONTHS 21 DAYS HAVE GOT DIAGNOSED CHDs. IN A ECHOCARDIOGRAPHY THE FINDINGS ARE 1) EBSTEIN ANOMALY G-2, 2)MULTIPLE VSD S, NONRESTRICTIVE, 3)FENESTRATED ASD, RESTRICTIVE,4)PAH, SIGNIFICANT AND SUGGESTIVE TO EARLY REPAIR. I AM A DOCTOR. Hi,
It is congenital condition due to drug or infection during pregnancy. Please note that child needs urgent surgical repair by shunt placement. After that, definitive surgery will be done.
You should see a pediatric cardiac surgeon soon. If your place has long waiting time, you may come to PGI Chandigargh or AIIMS New Delhi, India.
Here surgery has almost negligible waiting time. And surgery expenses are much lower than western countries but treatment standard is of international level.
