What Caused Difficulty In Hearing When I Got Up One Fine Morning?

I woke up sunday april 6/14 and could not hear properly. everything was muffeld, was fine when i went to bed .It is a week later and no change.went to emergency and no wax , went to chiropracter t0 check my neck and he thinks it is a virus . please help if you can. if s o what can i do ,will it go away on its own.Tankyou Marg e-mail ma.allensen @ G- MAIL.COM

Thanks for your query.
Noted your history of not hearing properly when on one morning you got up to find that everything was muffled, you could not hear properly. Went to ER and to a Chiropractor.

I would advise you to have the following course of actions:
First of all try to get an opinion of en ENT Surgeon for clinical evaluation and examination. Further tests to be done if your Doctor is thinking so.
You will need a course of an antibiotic, decongestants and anti-inflammatory medicines to get cured of the problems.
