I have what looks Lila a skin tag on the right upper side of my mouth inside. I think several days ago I bit my gum but not sure if that is the cause. I noticed it about three days ago and it's just sore and unsightly. What is it and how long will it take to go away.
Hello, thank you for consulting with healthcaremagic. It can be because of the trauma only which was caused by bitting. It is called as fibroma. You just wait and observe the lesion , if it starts creating problem then you have to visit a dentist to get it removed, otherwise just apply a topical ointment named mucopain on it for symptomatic relief. Hope it will help you.
