What Cause Swelling And Pain In The Lymph Nodes Under The Tongue?

On my left side of my neck, my lymph node has been swelling and hurts and today under my tongue it started swelling also on the left side. I noticed this happens the worst after eating lunch around noon. It's got me worried. I had a slight sore throat last night too, but most of my symptoms are on the left side. The swelling gets pretty bug around noon and hurts even when I swallow or turn my head, and then it feels more bearable for a while. Is this an allergy or do I have an infection or virus?

Ihe swelling you are referring to is not a lymphnode. It is most probably the submandibular salivary gland. It is at the maximum size during or after food. I suggest you to go meet the oral surgeon or ENT and get the sialograph done. this can be sialolithiasis.
Hopethis helps.
