What Cause Saliva From Mouth Of A New Born?

my newborn baby is 5 weeks old, showed symptomes of reflux, now than she's shifted to an AR digest formula, is producing too much saliva with bubbles , especially when sleeping and awakes, i feel her mouth is full. should i worry? what can be the causes

thanks for contacting us.
1. little bit of salivation is normal in a baby of that age,so there is no worry as long as salivation is severe enough causing breathing difficulty and choking at times.
2.as long as the baby swallows it,it oki.
3.here we have another associated issue of GERD on alternative formula too but doesnot seem to be related to this salivation,becoz if it was a part of reflux it would bringing out milk and not just saliva.
4.neways i would advice you to tell this to your regular pediatrician,in the followup,so that we can have close observation on the general aspects like growth checks(wt ,lt and hc) and developmental assessment ,which if normal then you can be relaxed and this will get better with time
