What Cause Red Bumps On Leg And Stomach?

Hi. My name is Karen and my son has 2 red bumps on him. One is on his leg and the other is on his lower belly. They both have a red ring around them and one has a white head. He also acts like they hurt. The one on his leg I have noticed for 4 days now. Do you know what it maybe and should I call his doctor?

Hello,
Welcome to healthcare magic.
From your history and description, I would consider the diagnosis of folliculitis / furuncle. ( boil in common terms)
This is an infection caused by a bacteria.
He will need a course of oral antibiotic like amoxycillin or cephalexin. You could also apply a topical antibiotic like 2 % mupirocin.
I would advise you to consult a doctor to get these medicines prescribed because small boils in children could spread fast and could also cause fever and toxin related illnesses.
Hope this helps you.
Take care.
