What Cause Pain In Throat While Sneezing?

A couple of weeks ago I sneezed and, as I ve done historically, I held in the sneeze. I immediately felt a sharp pain in my throat, and swallowing was painful. Subsequent sneezes hurt pretty badly as well. I also noticed I had a hard lump on my throat which I could feel on my neck - sort of like a goiter. I ve felt swollen lymphnodes before, and this seems more stiff and as though it s directly attached to my trachea (maybe not the right word). Since then the pain has subsided and I ve no longer been holding in sneezes, however the aforementioned lump is still there. Any idea what it could be? I am scheduled to see an ear/nose/throat specialist this upcoming Monday for an official diagnosis as well.

HI
Well come to HMC
This could be allergic condition and this is associated with some bacterial infection then lymph node would be likely and if this is just allergic condition then lymph node may be due to infection and this may be nonspecific you need to wait for some time because this would be alright soon, take care.
