General Surgeon Dr. Swapnendu Sekhar Ghosh's  Response
hi welcome to HealthcaremAGIC
clinical findings on examination are the seat anchor of diagnosing acute appendicitis
any tests are only supplementary
very rarely congenital absence of appendix has been reported
for practical purposes single u s g can not be relied to rule out appendicitis your kid should be treated depending on clinical parameters
due importance should be given on history of illness
roun worm infestation can present in any form of acute abdomen
hope your child's smooth recovery
