What Cause Loose Motion And Shivering With No Fever?
hi...my husband has been playing cricket for the last three days under the hot sun..temp around 40 degrees....having severe body pain, with slight loose motion and shivering with no fever...ysterday night went out wt friends for a night out....pls suggest
I have gone through your query and I understand your concern , the symptoms alike body pain, shivering are due to dehydration due to electrolyte loss because of playing in hot conditions and not having adequate water and electrolytes to replenish the loss with additional water loss due to loose motions..Loose motions are most probably due to mild gastrointestinal infection and you can have tab. norflox-tz combination for it to take care of bacterial as well as amoebic infection. Mix a sachet of ORS in 1 litre of water to replenish the electrolyte as well as water loss and continue drinking it till loose motions subside. Avoid eating spicy and oily foods for some days, soft foods like rice preferred which are easy to digest.Take rest for few days.
Hope I was able to convince you.

Dr. Tushar Tamboli
