What Cause Inflammation From Mouth To Anus With Abdominal Pain?

Ok. I have had chronic abdominal pain every morning upon waking since I was a teen. I also have joint pain and swelling, ulcers in my nose and mouth, blisters on my hands strange swelling rashes on my face and I have been running a low grade fever intermittently for months. I am frequently getting nausea and my abdomen is getting fat. I am now 41 and have been to rheumatologists and my symptoms have been dismissed. I have a positive ANA and when I went to a gastro fir a full scope he said I was inflamed from my mouth to my anus. I am pylori negative, chrohns disease negative and celiac negative. I am exhausted and tired of getting no answers. Any suggestions.

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted the history you have put in details about your symptoms, Endoscopy findings of inflammation from mouth to anus, ANA positive status, dismissed by Rheumatologist.
I would think of the following since you have multiple lesions.
- This definitely is a auto-immunity problem along with secondary problems due to malabsorption of many a things like multivitamins, minerals and trace elements.
I would advise you the following:
Get the additional tests for Vitamins including Vitamins A and D.
Get all the deficiencies corrected by therapeutic dosages and see there will be a great difference as this will help to boost your immunity too.
You may need oral steroids in tapering dosages and control of any other attendant medical problems like diabetes or so.
Take a second opinion of another Doctor who can do a good clinical evaluation, examination and advise further investigations and and advise additional management.
I find this answer helpful
