What Cause Experiencing Chest Movements In Sternum Area?

I have been experiencing chest movements in sternum area it can be flutters. sometimes like it takes my breath away. Like an awe moment. it will beat fast then stop and do it again mostly at nite. I am taking Nifedipine, coreg, metformin, diovan w hctz and potassium. At the moment I feel okay. I experienced about 30 minutes ago, and has been going for about a month. December, 2013, I had an EKg and October I had chest exray.

From all the information you have provided, I will suggest that you get your heart monitored over 24hours by wearing a holter monitor to capture these episodes and analyse. This is because an EKG might not pick this abnormality if it doesn't occur during the test. A cardiologist would be the best person to see in this case.
