What Casues Tingling Sensation In The Arms And Legs?

I am 82 yr old white female. I have seen doctors from ENT to neurologists. I walk with what they tell me is an a taxtic gait have had carotid (can t think of word for test) as well as MIR with contrast within 6 months. It is hard to walk because of my stumbling gait. I use a cane to help balance. I have constant hissing in left ear. Now I have tingling in both arms and legs and forget words usually easy words. I am under treatment for high blood pressure take a statin daily. I become tired very easily but sleep only 3 - 4 hours at a time. I had ocular implants for cataracts in 2008 and was diagnosed with age related macular degeneration about 4 years ago. So what is my question? How do I keep going on? There s more but I guess when you get this old it s difficult to know what to edit.

Hi,

You have essentially age-related problems like word finding, ataxic gait (likely cerebellar atrophy), AMD (age related macular degeneration).

Additional problem tinnitus in left ear, paresthesia in limbs, hypertension and frailty (tired very easily ) on top of every thing. Difficult to find cure for all ailments, at the risk of polypharmacy.

Try to live within activities of daily living as tolerated with quick attention to any acute problem only.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
