What Casues Severe Pain And Pessure In The Ear?

I have a blockage behind my left temple that sometimes causes seizures this morning I felt like I might have a seizure in the next cpl days ( I can tell when I m going to have one with a three day span cause there changes in the way I feel and act) but a little while ago out of the blue started to get extremely sharp pain in my ear and feeling pressure. Is this a sign that it is swelling?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

If you are having ear pressure and pain that is associated with seizures you will need to see your doctor, have a good and thorough examination, including a neurological examination and maybe have a brain MRI to rule out important brain conditions like tumors or bleeding.
The doctors might also do EEG to try to evaluate the brain waves as well.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Antoneta Zotaj,
