Hello.Welcome to HCM forum.Hypertension is recognized as a major risk factor for cardiovascular disease and so is diabetes. When both co exist the risk is not merely added but compounded. Both the problems together make a deadly combination. You have to make it a point that both the things are controlled meticulously to ward off he future dangers of micro and macro vascular complications. It is believed that coexisting dyslipidemia significantly contributes to higher prevalence of macro vascular disease and thus needs to be aggressively managed along with diabetes and hypertension.Keep visiting your doctor for regular guidance.Take healthy diet, less salt, moderate calories, avoidance of sweets and regular exercises. Thanks and good luck.

Hello
Regular BP check up , diet control , exercise like brisk walk and regular monitoring of blood sugar F as well as PP is required
Diet should include fibre , green vegetables , oats and soy
It should be salt restricted diet and fat free
Olive oil or fish oils are better
Yoga and meditation also help
