What Can The Tiny Red Spots Be?
Just had a colonoscopy this morning and the doctor found tiny red dots in one area.....and took a biopsy..have any ideas what this might be? I do have a localized case of amyloidosis in my larynx and it has not ever been found in another area. I am now concerned that it could be amyloid. Would that be possible and would it show up as tiny red dots????

Noted the history colonoscopy showing tiny red dots, you are a known case of amyloidosis in larynx and never found in another area.
Well, amyloidosis is not seen in colon..
The most probable reasons would be trauma by the colonoscope giving such an appearance is quite common.
Another reasons are like echhymosis, petechae and so on that the biopsy will confirm .
Do not worry as this is not unusual finding and most probably will be just an inflammation.
Once diagnosed, you will get a proper treatment.
