Meditate. Go for a nice walk in a park. Sit and listen to relaxing instrumental music. Take time out from your busy schedule. Prioritize: separate the important from the unimportant. Remove negative people from your life. You can do it. Good luck : )

Hello. I was just diagnosed with hypothyroidism based on high TSH result (6.4). I was prescribed levothyroxine which I haven t started yet. What part does stress play in raising the level (I ve had a lot recently) and shouldn t I get a full thyroid panel done first to determine in more detail what is wrong/needed? And can I get my TSH down to normal range with natural remedies (i.e. vitamins/ minerals designed to do just that)? Thank you!
My hair has been thinning out dramatically. It started last year around April/May timeframe I went to the dermatologist in July. The first one was pretty sure it was due to a very stressful event I had been through a few months earlier. She told me to use Rogaine and it would grow back quicker. I used one can and decided not to use more because I knew what caused it and all would be ok. Well it is now Feb and my hair is not any better. I was told approximately 5 years ago I have hashimoto s disease but last blood test indicated my thyroid levels are still in the range that is ok. I have been taking librax and devilant for several years. About 6 months ago I started taking librax twice a day. I met with another dermatologist that did not give me a lot of hope that the hair loss is due to the stressful situation. I am getting desperate and need to find the root cause. My daughter is getting married in 7 months and I surely do not want to continue to lose my hair.

Have always had a normal to low blood pressure. We live quite a stressful lifestyle but try to eat right and exercise. On most recent visit to Dr. had a pressure of 150/90. Trying to monitor what we are eating and taking some self monitoring at pharmacy but now stressed that my BP is high so still seems to register as high. Are there some steps I should be doing to help reduce this before next visit to further discuss with my Dr.?
