What Can Cause White Bump In The Corner Of Eyelids?

My right eye area:
The lower eye lid has been sore for 2days. Yesterday it developed a white bump on the lower lid right corner. The bump kinda resembles a white head and expelled a milky discharge.
Today the right eye is more sore than yesterday. Inside the same eyelid now has a flat white ulcer.
The white area of same eye is red, particularly right lower corner.
What does this sound like?
How do I treat it?
It it also watery, semi-crusty, and eyelashes are itchy. Lol

Hi friend,

Thanks for your query.

A whitish, painful, oozing bump on the eyelid is called a Stye- a bacterial infection. A course of oral antibiotics + antibiotic eye drops + anti-inflammatory drug, such as, ibuprofen and, cold compresses will eradicate the infection.

Localized redness of right lower corner of the eye is a secondary response to Stye.

Consult your doctor and apprise him of my opinion. I am certain that he will agree with me, and prescribe the advised drugs in appropriate doses.

If you find my response helpful and informative, do not forget an “excellent” (5-star rating) to my answer, to ENCOURAGE ALL doctors- engaged in social service- to render sound advice to the FREE queries.
