What Can Cause Orange Discoloration On The Toes?

I have developed dry thick orange/brown skin across my big and second toe, it is not flaky as such but just tough, it wasn’t causing any pain until I scratched it and pulled some of the skin off and now it is sore, silly thing to do but not sure what it is

Hello,

It could be due to fungal infection of toenails. As a first line management, you can try antifungal creams like clotrimazole for symptomatic relief.

If symptoms persist better to consult a dermatologist and get evaluated.
