Hi,

I think you may be suffering from acute gastritis. Pain in right lower abdomen may be due to appendicitis or diverticulitis or right renal caliculi etc. Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is.

Avoid spicy food and alcohol avoid smoking and caffeine drinks. Use tablet Pantoprazole before breakfast for one week. If symptoms not improved please consult your Gastroentrologist he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query.

I m a vegan and ate black beans Tuesday and Tuesday night I had severe right abdominal pains. Nausea but no vomiting. Abdomen even hurts when I cough. I thought it was appendix because it hurt so bad. Pain also in back below shoulder blades. Its now Friday and pain has let-up but still feel light headed and pain in lower abdomen. Is it the black beans causing gas or IBS? Thank you.
