What Can Cause Missed Periods And Sharp Vaginal Pain In A Virgin?

I m 18 and a virgin and haven t had my period in 2 months. This has never happened before. I did have a sharp pain in my vagina on and off for a while. Have gained about 10 pounds in the past 2 months and have had menstral like cramps with no period..help!!

Thanks for asking at Healthcare Magic. I read your question and I understand your concern.
At least 3 months wait should be done before workup of ameonorrhea in patients with previously normal menstruation. All this occurs because of Harmonal imbalance, disorder in hypothalamic-pitutary -gonadal axis.
At the moment forget about other things, go for ultrasound abdomen and transvaginal ultrasound as pain in vagina is correlating with adhesions.
Take Gyneric tablets (combination of estradiol and progestrone) one tablet a day on two consecutive days at the same time and wait for a couple of days for menses. if problem still persists for at least three months then you have to do workup.
