What Can Cause Lump Below The Skin Under Left Ear?

Hi this might not be anything but i just wanted to make sure, i have a lump under my skin below my left ear and it starts off small but then as i run my finger along it towards my ear it gets bigger, it is only painful when i touch it or open my mouth sometimes, it is not visible you can only feel it not see it, is this a big concern? i will also add that i am not currently sick either
