What Can Cause Frequent Dizziness?

My dad in his 80's often complain feeling giddy. He likes to sit crouching with his head between his leg at the staircase or on the table. What is the body posture when one is feeling giddy?. He is not on any medication. However, he feels insecure whenever needs to leave home. Appreciate your advice.

Hi,
Thanks for asking.
Based on your query, my opinion is as follows.
1. It appears to be due to dizziness. The posture, is usually, when a person feels like falling, and he needs to put the head down.
2. Possible causes could be postural hypotension - ask him if any sudden movement like sitting to standing, sleeping to sitting. Also need to check for anemia. Also take plenty of fluids.
3. He does have dizziness. More specific details necessary for further opinion.
Hope it helps.
Any further queries, happy to help again.
