Hello young lady,
I can help a little, but it would benefit you to work with a dietitian. Even if you have access to a WIC dietitian, someone to help you with your meal planning to assist with managing your PCOS. Diannette was keeping you from being so "greasy" and now you are seeing what life is like without the medication with PCOS active again. Plan: Eat a balanced diet, but avoid sugar, sweets, white breads, white noodles, and google a low glycemic list of foods. Choose low glycemic foods, fresh fruit (absolutely no more than 1/2c of juice a day and I prefer my patients drink 0 ). Exercise. Walk everyday at a brisk pace swinging your arms. Avoid white potatoes. Eat plenty of other vegetables, preferably fresh. Drink Lactaid and see if it helps with the bloat. Start taking a multivitamin or at least folic acid if you are trying to get pregnant to avoid neural tube defect. I hope this gives you some ideas. Good day. Kathy Shattler, MS,RDN
