Hello,

Your abdominal pain with fever and nausea could be due to gall bladder inflammation or intestine inflammation. If your pain not located in right upper quadrant than intestine inflammation enteritis could be possible. You can be given paracetamol for relief from pain and fever.

For nausea Domperidone and Rabeprazole combination medicine can be prescribed for one week. Take soft and Bland diet. Drink lots of water to maintain hydration. If no improvement than USG abdomen scan should be done for further work up.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Last night I had a sever pain in my right abdomen right around my navel. I couldn t sit or stand there was no comfortable position to be in. The pain would be constant and unbearable for about 30 minutes and then it would get less intense. I could still tell there was pain there but I could walk and talk. At times I felt feverish, but never took my temperature. I experienced chills and sweating. I never vomited but sat over the toilet feeling like I was going to. The pain lasted for about 7 hours like this. When the pain wasn t unbearable I would fall asleep only to be woke back up 30 minutes to and hour later in tremendous pain. This also happened about a week ago, the pain was just as bad but it only lasted for an hour or two. Any idea what could be causing this?

My 24 yr son went to bed last night fine but woke up this morning with stomach pain. He has chills but no fever[97.6 temp]. His bp is 110/74 and heart rate of 87. He s vomited twice now[6pm]. He s complaining about leg and back pain. Is it ok to give him tylenol for the aches and chills? He has no appetite for fear of vomiting more. It appears his stomach aches the worst just before he vomits. Do you think I might just a 24 hr bug? He does have a history with heart issues. He had his aorta value replaced and a mitrial value repaired in 2013 due to endocarditis.
