What Can Be The Reason For Discomfort In The Throat?
Hello I m 18 and my throat started to hurt 3 or 4 days ago. Me and my friend have been smoking and inhaling a black and mild ,maybe 2 a week, for the past couple months. (3 out of 4 we take out the cancer paper) We maybe smoke one cigarette once every other week. I don t smoke a lot but it seemed after the last time I smoked 3 days ago I got a throat pain when I swallow. It doesn t hurt unbearably and helps when I drink water. Also mucus builds up and I have a slight cough. What could it be?
Hi.This is most probably due to Acute Pharyngitis. The built up of mucus, pain on swallowing and slight cough all suggest this. The smking enhances the pre-existing problem. Nothing to worry. Get a proper diagnosis made by consulting an ENT Surgeon and take proper treatment of antibiotics and anti-inflammatory and anti-histamines. take plenty of oral fluids and avoid all the foods and beverages which can enhance your problem.
