What Can Be The Reason For Bump Near The Anus?

Almost 2 months ago I noticed a hard bump near the anus area closer to the beginning of the ass cheek. It is painful when I set, walk, sleep or touch! Didn t go away still hurts! Just to mention I did colonoscopy before discovering the clot. There is no head on it or color. You can only feel it when pressing on it! First what is it? Second what type of doctor should I go to check it!?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi.
Thanks for your query and an elucidate history.

The most probable cause for such a hard tender swelling near the anus, which becomes painful when you sit, walk sleep or touch can be due to following reasons:
Prolapsed thrombosed pile.
some sort of a cyst or a mass.

Type of Doctor you should see:
You must consult a Surgeon specialized in Gastroenterologist or a General Surgeon. He shall examine you physically to get a clinical diagnosis and to get some investigations of blood, urine and stool.

I find this answer helpful
