What Can Be Done To Treat Constant Pain And Swelling In The Foot?

I have a aker;s cyst that ruptured Nov. 1, 2016. Rheumatologist injected coritsone and it helped relieve the pain for maybe 2-3 months. About 4 monts ago it got worse and I am in almost constant pain with swelling in foot and ankle. Pain now reaches from thigh to large toe. Can t anything thank you be done to treat this? Also sufffer from type 2 diabetes with insulin since 1993. Am 90 year old female.
