Hi,
Welcome to HCM. Your baby was born with low birth weight. It will take some time for the child to become completely healthy. Breast feeding is the best way of feeding your child. Take special care to see that the child is not exposed to infection. Maintain good hygiene. Don't worry, the child will gain weight in due time and no extra treatment or external feeds are required. Wishing your child best of everything.
hi,
welcome to Health Care Magic forum,
as your baby was born with low bierth weight , will take some time for her to catch up growth. you can feed only your milk till 6 months of age atleast. she can be started on calcium & vit D supplements as per the dos your doctor advices. but keep a growth chart, if the child is gaining weight in a constant fashion as your growth chart reveals then dont worry.
