What Brands Of Levothyroxine Are Available In United States?

My question is: what brands of levothyroxine sodium are currently available in pharmacies in the United States (i.e., not under present FDA recall as of May, 2013), and of these, which are brand names and which are generics? Is each product discussed in an available FDA monograph &/or described in the PDR? If not, where can I find the product's list of inactive ingredients and the mfg.'s name and location? Thank you very much for your assistance.

The brands are : synthroid, levoxyl, levothroid, unithroid, levo-t, tirosint.

There can be a difference between the amount of levothyroxine present, the absorption of levothyroxine in the body and how it is distributed.This means that there can be a difference when different brands or generics are used.

The generic would normally just state the name of the drug , levothyroxine.

Each particular generic may have a prefix or suffix that can be used to identify the manufacturing company.
In terms of ingredients ,is should be available in the monograph supplied with the drug.
