Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
The onset of menstruation is known is menarchae, which usually starts between age 10 to 15 yrs and it is associated with a lot of symptoms.
Delay in periods is quite common in intial phases. There may be a gap of several months also.
Primolut-N contains norethistrone which is a estrogen and there seems no reason to me to give unnecessary estrogen to your daughter. Delay in period is quite common.
I recommend you to wait for few more days and than visit a gynecologist, if needed. Primolut-N can be tried in later stages.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Laxmikant Soni
