Hello,

flucloxacilline is a category B drug which means that its safety has not been adequately established in pregnancy. It is supposed to be used only when absolutely necessary. The first trimester is the most important regarding drug use, so you should be twice as careful now!

Despite that, if your doctor believes that using this antibiotic is critical for her treatment, then I guess you've got no other option than to take it. Perhaps you can postpone your baby plans for a while.

Kind Regards!
