What Are The Uses And Side Effects Of Cialis Tablet?

Hello, I take Atenolol (only 25mg a day) for my blood pressure. I d like to know if it would be counteractive for me to also take Cialis. I know that Cialis increases blood flow. Does that mean increasing blood PRESSURE as well? And then by taking it would I be nullifying the effects of the Atenolol? Thank you for your help. :-)

Hello thanks for asking from HCM for your health related queries

You have high blood pressure and are taking Atenolol for that. Cialis is Tadalafil and the drug is a Phosphodiestrase inhibitor drug. The drug is a good drug for erectile dysfunction. The drug should not be prescribed with cardiac drugs like nitrates as Sodium Nitroprusside because of serious interactions and risk of severe hypotension.

The drug increases blood flow to penis area and it would not have nullifying effects on Atenolol. There should be no risk in taking these drugs together and you can go with these drugs. Take the medicines with proper prescription only.

Thanks, hope this helps you.
