I'm 25 years old and I have swollen nymph node on the back of my neck. I've gone to my doctor twice already and the second time she prescribed me 875 mg of amoxicillan. today is my 8th day taking it and the swollen node is still there and my neck is still stiff. I also have an unsuall pain in my lower back and every morning my right foot is stiff.

ENT Specialist 's  Response
Dear sir
I understand your concern, the swelling in the back might not be a lymph node, please let me know is it painful to touch and warm, if answer is no for both, then it could be spasmotic neck muscle which is causing pain and also your other symptoms. As of pain in lower back and stiff right foot might be due to spinal cord problem for which you requires and x-ray along with a x-ray and Ultrasonography of neck region including the swelling. Try taking pain killers and hot fermentation of area and monitor the pain
