What Are The Treatments For Swelling In Ears Of A 8 Year Old Child?
My son's ear is swollen, back and top, red and warm to the touch . We took him to the dr and they siad try benadryl. After 11 hours and 3 rounds of benadryl and ice, nothing has changed. Should I be worried. He is 8 and doesnt remeber anything biting him at school.

it seems inflammation (due to infection) of the external ear called pinna
can give antibiotic like XXXX 100mg tab twice a day along with syrup XXXX approx.7.5 ml twice a day for 5 days.
ice and local antiinflammatory will help.
