What Are The Treatments For Swallowing Problems?

Hello, occasionally every three or four months or so I have a problem swallowing things like rice or bread and drinking water does not help it go down.. I go to the bathroom and have to gag and vomit it up. Sometimes it s surprising how much was down there, like a half cup . I really have to force it to come up, almost like a dry heave.Or else it feels like I ll die.

These symptoms may be due to .
1 Sometimes there develops a fold in the esophagus ( food pipe ) , this causes difficulty in swallowing . When such situation develops patient have to vomits the entire food as in your case and only treatment of this fold is to consult an E NT specialist and get his opinion.
2 The next reason may be due to any tumor in this area ( in throat ) . Diagnosis can be confirmed by barium meal examination and M R I .
3 Sometimes partial paralysis of pharynx may develops such type of symptoms . In my opinion deal as I mentioned above , so first of all consult an E N T doctor and get his opinion.
