What Are The Treatments For Enlarged Tonsils?

Hi, I recently had very enlarged tonsils. Went to the doctors where I was told to just take paracetamol, since the past week I have had a pain in my throat with a bit of mucus which is giving me bad breath. Is there anything I can do to resolve this? I'm brushing my teeth up to 6 times a day and have tried mouth washes also. Thanks

Hello!
Halitosis or bad breath can be due to number of reasons. Most common ones are:
1.Dental caries
2.Food in the tonsils
3. Diabetic patients
4.constant mouth breating etc

In your case it is more likely to be due to food debris in the tonsils. I would recommend you to gargle every time after your meal.JUst brushing your teeth may not solve the issue. I hope I have been able to answer your query.
