hi i have had very strong urine now for over three months and have sent three urine samples back to the doctors. They have come back as having a small amount if luco somethings in them, which apparently indicates i might have a uti. How long will this go on for, surely it shouldnt last this long?
first i would like to tell you that for management of uti we should detect the causative organism for that.......the causative micro organism might be bacterial or viral....simply you need to do urine culture for investogation....if bacterial infection suspected treatment should begin with antibiotic indicated....to have best results we should do antibiotic sensitivity test as this test will detect the most antibiotic that bacteria is sensitive for.....as many bacteria causing urinary tract infection may have resistance to more than species of antibiotics......so you might had taken antibiotics and have no improvement and infection persist because of the bacteria has resistance to the antibiotic you had taken.....limit your sexual contact this period of time because you may get recurrent infection from sexual contact with infected person......you can follow these simple steps and you will be fine.......wish you healthy life
