What Are The Symptoms Of Strokes?

my mother had a stroke 2 years ago and has been getting very tired lately, sleeping alot, and at times just staring off in to a trance or some thing. we put her to bed and after she wakes up she is better. She hasn't been eatting as much lately either. Could she be having miny strokes.

I have gone through your question in detail and I can understand what you are going through.
There is a possibility that multiple lacunar infarcts can lead to these symptoms and especially the fact that your mother has had a stroke in the past puts her at a higher risk. The other possibility is that these infarcts might have led to cognitive impairment and dementia which can also present with similar features. If it is dementia then there has to be significant impairment in the memory.
You need to take your mother to a psychiatrist or a neurologist who can order and MRI and also assess the cognitive functions using MMSE. That will give a better idea.
One thing is clear that there is no need to panic and things can go on their own pace.
