What Are The Symptoms Of Skin Cancer?

I am just back from AZ and noticed a small round red spot the size of a dime on my shin. I have brown eyes and olive skin. I did not burn while in AZ. I have had sun burns when I was young. Could this be skin cancer and should I go to the doctor? I am 56 years old.

Hi! Thank you for your question. First of all I would like you answer some questions: How long does this red spot is in your skin? Has this changed over the time, in size and in color?
I suggest you do a dermoscopy if you have had sun burns when you were young and self check your skin periodically.
