i have been breaking out in red blotches since i went to pick strawberries on Tues night. It was so bad yesterday that I went to the ER but sat there for 2 hours and I left, came home, lathered up in hydrocortisone and benadryl and still have the reoccurring stuff. I hope this isn t shingles..... it comes and goes and I get a tight chest sometimes....Ive never had food allergies, Im 50. Picked strawberries and ate them after I cleaned them. Done this several years in a row. Do the plant leaves have some toxin that I could be affected by..... its just on my upper torso, ears get really hot and red, arms were red and really hot.... what does a doctor give for this..... Im on Claritin, inhaler, already and taking liquid benedryl.
