hello doc...good am...i would like to ask about minimal ptb.....what are the signs of symptoms of a person having a ptb???how to minimize this kind of disease,can it be cure through taking the appropriate foods and beverages???how can this affect to the body....hoping for ur answer..thank you

Hello dear,
Welcome to HCM.
There are the main symptoms of pulmonary TB :
- continuous coughing
- blood in sputum
- consistent subfebrile fever
- cold night sweating
- chest pain
- X ray changes in upper lobes of lungs
- unexplained weight loss
- weakness
Prophylaxis include:
1.Normal consumption of meat, curd, fruits, vegetables and ets.
2.Avoid overdrinking of alcohol.
3.Immunomodulators: dibazol 1 tablet 1 time 1-2 months or others
4.Multivitamins-revital,zincovit 1 tablet 1 time for 1-2 months
5.Boil milk, don't buy open food in the street, wash fruits and vegetables properly.
6.Vaccination-BCG in childhood
