My daughter who is just about 15 had a pinkish first period 8 weeks ago and nothing since until today. Today it is clear and was yesterday and the day before. She was concerned she had bladder issues because she said it s watery like urine but she can t control it from coming out. Is this a period???

Hi,

The following are the signs and symptoms of puberty in a female.

1. Breast development.
2. Pubic hair.
3. Growth spurt.
4. Vaginal discharge.
5. Underarm hair.
6. Menstruation.

Initially, the menstrual periods might be scanty or irregular, which should regularize by about 3 to 6 months. In case it continues for more than 6 months, you need to seek medical attention for evaluation and management.

Hope the information provided would be helpful. Let me know if I can assist you further.
