Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hello, my fiance has a certain times during the day (ex. after working a long day) having sharp pains sometimes in his fingers, arms, and legs. We researched his symptoms and we think he had gout. He's been to doctors and a couple trips to the er and no one is telling him anything specific. What are your reccommedations?
what you are describing does not seem to be gout. gout generally attacks a single joint at a time makes the joint red hot and tender. and the inflammation generally last for a few days. the levels of uric acid are generally raised in this condition. what you are describing looks like a overuse pain codition. it would be better to get his TSH, vitamin D levels checked.
Hello, I have studied your case and I think he might be having arthralgia. It needs following investigation to check it. 1.ESR,CRP,Ra factor 2.Uric acid These tests will help us in finding what is the cause of joint pain. Doctors may advised him following. 1.Brufen tablet one daily 2.Tablet HCQ, SAAZ I hope this treatment will be helpful for him.
