What Are The Symptoms Of Polymyalgia Rheumatica?

I think I may have polymyalgia rheumatica. All the morning symptoms, I exercise immediately upon rising because of stillness, ache s in shoulders, neck, etc. After About 3-4 hours I can function. This has been like this for months thought it was caused by cholesterol med. So I stopped taking that. Went to therapy for 2 months and continue my exercise everyday at home. Good check-up at Dr. I m 80. Some days I m almost pain free soooo ?Tell me something

Hello
Welcome to Ask a Doctor service
I have reviewed your query, and here is my advice
It may not the case as you are thinking it is not the rheumatic disease, but it seems to be the muscular spasm and fibromyalgia is likely, exercise is the best way to get rid of this, else it is the functional kind of disease, stress plays the great role in pain, so try to come out of this, simple paracetamol can be tried initially if no response is there then chlorzoxazone can be added .
Hope I have answered your query, let me know if I can assist you further.
