What Are The Symptoms Of Petit Mal Seizure ?

my 9 month old daughter has recently started rolling her eyes up and off to one side for a few seconds, while tensing up. She can do it for a few seconds then stop then do it again then return to normal and not do it again for hours or days..could this be a petite mal seizure? could it be nothing?

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,
Thank you for asking question on health care magic.
petitmal seizures or absent spells Occur several times a day and last for few seconds only.
Your history suggests that it could be petitmal seizures.
EEG will show 3/second spike wave pattern.
Better consult pediatrician and arrive at a definite diagnosis.
Hope this answer will serve your purpose
Please feel free to ask any more queries if required
Take care
