What Are The Symptoms Of Neurogenic Atrophy?

What are the symptoms of neurogenic atrophy. I am having a throbbing in the frontal lower leg muscle when I lay down and also in my hip area. The bottoms of my feet feel a little numb. I also occasional trip when I have dropsy in my foot. Is this a serious problem?

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

There are two type of neurogenic problems one is lower motor neurones in which muscle atrophy occurs due to loss of innervation and second is upper motor neurones where spasticity occurs due to cortical damage you should have EMG ncv which can diagnose your condition.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
