What are the symptoms of menopause?

I was without health insurance for two years and during that time I did not have any medical attention, I am having extreme menopausal symptions; Hot flashes, not able to sleep, headaches, weight gain, etc. Also, I have not had a pap in years, What should my first steps be now that I have insurance.
